I decided to get this for my Magnum after watching Dave’s YouTube video. I cut down the bracket like he did and installed it in my bullet headlight with some one sided rubber so it’s snug and not slapping (thanks DFHS) Tach works great, did 5 wraps and heat shrank it. Set the pulses to 2 or it will read double your RPM. Cut the included speedo bracket and painted it black. Bolted it to a fork brace bolt then used clear silicone to stick the magnet to the wheel. (No damage if I remove it unlike epoxy.) Painted the magnet black to match my wheels too. Wired it into my headlight. Used an existing temp wire and soldered it to this one to extend it without the bulky white plug.

I always wanted one of these and I finally pulled the trigger and bought one for my Garelli VIP. Like most, I also had to extend the temp sensor, but it was easy. When I first installed, it kept losing power and resetting; however, I called Trail Tech support and they were awesome. I was running a resistor wire, but non-resistor plug. Turns out the non-resistor plug can cause some interference issues. They quickly identified the problem and I flipped to a resistor plug and now the thing works perfectly. Dialed it in with my GPS.

the 2 issues I have are the tach is never right, and the temp sensor is too short. I cut mine and extended it but you can also buy an extension cable. used on a puch e50
** for the tach, use a 600K ohm resistor and ire directly to points wire.

Hooked this up to my '78 honda express...backlight does not work due to low voltage...make sure you get the extender for temp gauge it was not long enough. Easy to install.

Just got this bad bitch in the mail today and hook up was SIMPLE. Had to opt for the jb weld magnet to brake rotor due to the magnetic bolt not being the right size thread, so I had to bore out one whole on the mounting bracket in order to fit it to the break caliper assembly, world just fine, all other connections worked just perfectly, engine temp, speedo, RPM sensor all fine, even wired the power cable directly to the batter for brighter display light. Over all extremely happy with the look and feel of the computer. Have it mounted to the center of my tomos streetmate are and it has now become the center piece to an already AWSOME moped! Fucking LOVE treats!!!

Awesome all around, but the temp wire wouldn't reach from my handlebars to my spark plug.

I purchased one not from Treatland. Wanted a speedo and tack. Tack was never close to accurate even after two calls to Trail tech. Installed a motor cycle battery and Trail tech regulator still N/G For a speedo I use my iPhone and a $1.99 speedo app. Bought a holder for bars and it works great! Buy the GO FAST PARTS!!

Had no idea what my moped was doing. How fast how hot how far? All important questions. This solved all those important questions in life. Wired right up and running off the button battery.
But do yourself a favor and buy the temp extension. 12 inch is just right. 24 inch is for the birds.
Temp sensor broke on the first ride and the trail tech support replaced it no worries.
So what you doing cowboy ..? Pull the trigger and make it your day.

Mounting bracket plate broke before installation

*UPDATE* Trailtech sent out a new bracket right away and it's been holding up fine. TT are super great with support!
Mounting bracket plate broke before installation. The back bracket that screws into the Vapor broke before even being tightened or mounted. Contacted support and they are sending a new one.
Hope the rest of the computer isn't as chintzy.
