4 of 5 A3 upshift is much improved. Monday, June 4, 2018
taco eater : Jeroem from Wyoming Valley, PA
I really can't feel ANY performance gain with this pipe, but that dreaded A3 upshift is definitely improved.  I can't make any rhyme or reason of it, but there it is.  This is the first performance part on my stock 78 A3.  I needed to bend the pedal crank out far enuff that I can feel the wobble when pedaling.  It also has some throat to it so expect an increase in volume.

5 of 5 4.5 stars Wednesday, September 13, 2017
taco eater : Anonymous Person from Pataskala, OH United States
Couldn't bring myself to give 5, but also couldn't go as low as 4. This pipe friggin rips!!! Mounted it to my stock 99 A35 targa. I weigh around 220 and gained 10mph. Hits about 45 on downhill! Quick takeoff, slower acceleration at top end. Couldn't give 5 stars because I had to bang at the header with a hammer as well as grind away a ton of the weld in order to get one of the nuts on securely. Still not sure there isn't an airleak due to it.

4 of 5 these r good... Wednesday, January 25, 2017
taco eater : grim ripper from savannah, GA United States
i've run a few over the years and tomosi like'em better than puches. i'm about to hack one to a scrambler header. the chrome is fucking great. these pipes outlast the bikes they're on. why can't the tecno circuit be like that? i still like the churkits better, performance wise but you gotta have a mig welder if you want to run it for more than a month. the homoet is still the fastest, but these r like half the price. boss wins in sword fight against biturbo. probably close perf wise. good. yeah, good.

2 of 5 Fits a Derbi and V1 with work Wednesday, November 9, 2016
taco eater : Kevin Pierce from Edmonds, WA United States
I bought this because I wanted a stock look for a very clean bike. widen the flange holes to fit the derbi studs and make a 1 inch bracket for the rear and you have a perfect fitting pipe. the stick comes of very easily. I wasn't happy with the performance on a derbi. bottom end was completely killed, but I got up to 37 on flats, just very slowly. I will try porting the cylinder and give an update after that.

Porting didnt work, went with an estoril instead. I will be putting this on my minarelli v1 with a Polini

Put it on my Polini V1, for flat lands this pipe is ok, got up to 40 with a 12mm carb and stock gearing. It has very little torque compared to a estoril. for $60 its decent, but i dont recommend it unless you want a kitted bike that feels similar to a stock bike.

5 of 5 Its a good pipe if you're a boss! Friday, December 18, 2015
taco eater : Edgar Massey from El Cajon, CA United States
So... its quieter than the biturbo... Has pretty good mid to top end. Nice and sturdy feel, I dont think the baffle is falling off this one, unlike the biturbo. Header is big in diameter, short in length, the expansion chamber is smaller them the biturbo but not by much. MINE DID NOT COME WITH A STICKER!!! And I really wanted it to..... As a side note mine also came in a jamarcol sealed bag... So im not sure I got the boss pipe since it seems to have some differences, maybe Benji can chime in?

Did I mention that it is quiet? Like im more then positive a car can not heare next to them...

5 of 5 FREAK YEH! Riding A 2001 Tomos A35 Targa Tuesday, September 8, 2015
taco eater : JAP from Mays Landing, NJ United States
Wasn't expecting great gains maybe at best a modest 5mph gain in top end. But sheet not 11mph increase on level ground to 46mph using GPS and when I didn't quite believe that had a Honda Odyssey pace me with the same results they got me at 47mph.  Granted acceleration could be better but it is SHA carb and if I change the jet with any higher number I gain the acceleration but I loose that magic top end where it really hits and scream and in my head I says freak yeh.  I am running a 15:15 SHA clone, believe made by Reuntong? and a 15 mm intake with the oil injection just to keep things looking stock. I also have the high flow air filter which I may experiment with the stock intake by enlarging some holes and try drawing the air from the frame with larger holes.  I have me a theory about this cool air intake thing that I believe Tomos must of figured out long ago but will need to experiment with temp probes and look at air temps going into carb and see if that is the case.

5 of 5 Excellent pipe Wednesday, July 8, 2015
taco eater : rusta far I from OR United States
I put one on a tomos A35 pedal and pegs version. No mods. Bolted right up. Made them go 5 to 7 miles an hour faster on stock bikes.

5 of 5 TEAM POLINI for GARELLI or MINARELLI V1 Monday, April 13, 2015
taco eater : G*Rashid from DAM! - OH United States
Bolts to a TEAM Polini for Garelli cylinder with no problem if you elongate the holes. Must use studs (duh!)

Also works good for a Minarelli V1 if you bring the bolt holes inwards.
