4 of 5 egregious rounding but otherwise good Monday, September 14, 2026
taco eater : noah from MA, United States
kit is actually 64cc...
whole thing assembled in about an hour including port matching the jug to a55 case. paired with an mlm sidebleed and 26 sprocket it just exceeds 40 with plenty for the hills. airsal seems like a competent company and the kit seems good so far. spin the engine over a few times to center the jug before clamping the head nuts down

I tossed this kit on my 2005 a55 arrow, fun times! It being my first build I kept it pretty standard, 19mm PHBG and BiTurbo/technobullet really opens it up. Drop yer rear sprocket to 22t and ur 45mph zoomin' if'n ya don't get too scurred, thomas is a shakey son of a gun. Lovin' it. Add an unlimited rev or wicked curve to the mix and a lil timing and yer loving life. 10/10 would blow up again.

3 of 5 Meh (maybe) Sunday, August 13, 2023
taco eater : Matthew Mulligan from terryville, CT United States
Head was weird out of the box, casting texture in combustion chamber and weird sharp angles, so I polished it up a bit. Otherwise just matched transfers and polished the exhaust port a bit. Geared 27/24 on a streetmate with a 3" knobby, phva 17.5, 18mm intake and estoril sidebleed. Honestly, my ported stock cylinder was faster. I gained low and mid range and have better hill climbing, but I had to swap rear sprocket from 26 to 24 to gain my top speed of 44-45 back and it's much weaker on top.

Update: still 3 stars because that head is weird but I found a massive oil leak at the case gasket and suspect an airleak, will update review again upon rebuild.

5 of 5 This is Hot Sauce you need Monday, April 27, 2020
taco eater : Enchilados from Grand Rapds, MI United States
This kit installed perfectly in 2011 Streetmate with stock exhaust, intake and carb.  22 tooth sprocket added next. Moded muffler for fun but was not enough. MLM sidebleed added and bam, now stock carb is limiting the good times(speed 44gps). 18mm  Mikuni kit is on the way...

This kit is Most definitely the best drop in kit ever...opened up the transfers a bit and Woah hold on! With the kit, 19mm phbg, Treatland hammer clutch, homoet p6 and 28/22 gearing I get as high as 58mph with good acceleration on my streetmate R

4 of 5 On a puch magnum Tuesday, January 26, 2016
taco eater : kyle from oceanside, CA United States
Nearly same exhaust angle as puch magnum, pipe even mounted perfectly without any modification.
With mlm bk100 and sha 15.15 it makes good power!
Feels like itll do a solid 50, as for longevity, thats to be determined

5 of 5 Strong Gains Throughout Sunday, February 23, 2014
taco eater : Matthew Stoddard from Miami, FL United States
I'm sure a Puch kit that costs almost twice as much would yield better performance, but this A55 Airsal is still worth the money. I saw a 7mph increase in top speed on the flats after installing this kit with a 24mm OKO carb over the ported stock cylinder + stock carb. The pull is much stronger at all but the lowest RPMs, and that's probably carb related. Buy it, match it to the cases, and rip. Super easy.

5 of 5 Shame on Airsal Monday, July 16, 2012
taco eater : Dustin Shepherd from Kansas City, MO United States
This review isn't for Airsal as much as it is for Benji and the staff at Treatland.  I recently ordered this particular kit for my Tomos LX and the holes in the jug and head were not drilled for the 8mm studs.  Benji and all the wonderful staff at Treatland went above and beyond the call make sure that this was corrected for me and YOU for the future.  Hats of and a round of applause for the Treats staff. I will be a loyal customer for life. Cheers! Dustin K Shepherd
