On a Tomos A35 Kickstart, this large nut rubs the spring keeper. This keeper is inside the ignition cover. You need to shim the cover.
Note: If this rubs, it slows down your top end speed.

Worked great! Stopped the leak on the second try with the gasket maker.

Thanks Stephanson for making a wonderful knockoff of what I was selling on M.A. for so long. People need it and I got flamed a lot for it. Haha. My loss the peoples gain. juneaujim

Great lil upgrade. A wee bit pricey, but worth it. It has a wider nut so there's more to grab onto with a tool, and the seal gives me warm fuzzy feelings and inner peace.
FWIW my Tomos didn't/doesn't have the leak but I figured this would keep it that way.

Cleaned off my back wheel before I ran this so see if it actually stopped the leak. Haven't noticed any leaking so far with about 50 miles. This nut is also thicker than stock so it's easier to remove/tighten down/grip. Cooool.
