4 of 5 Just finished installing Thursday, May 23, 2024
taco eater : Phil Schaller from Cincinnati, OH United States
Did not get the washers, anyway a quick trip to the hardware store. got 4, used 4. drilled out brake plate, 3 min. job, everything else went well. it worked. Happy. 4 stars is because I did not get the washers. It's a good kit, ya just have to fiddle with it to make it fit.

5 of 5 Give a 1 star review if you're a bad mechanic Monday, December 26, 2022

Because this is a 5 star product and if you can't figure this stuff out, put down the wrench, get out of the hobby and find something less challenging like Pokémon cards.

1 of 5 Conversion axle needs to be further threaded... Monday, June 20, 2022
taco eater : Jamie Rezendes from Warwick, RI United States
The conversion to sealed bearings in recommended BUT the product product does not mimic the original axle and the threads do not go in far enough to properly secure the brake plate and bearings. Spacers are offered but are useless because the axle thread doesn't afforded the ability to tighten it all down.
DISAPPOINTED!

5 of 5 works very well Thursday, July 30, 2020
taco eater : Michael Kuriger from Santa Clarita, CA United States
the only think I'd add is 2 additional nuts so you have a nut on each side of the arm like stock.  otherwise you need to tighten it so tight it can strip that axle threading

1 of 5 Missing parts. Sunday, July 19, 2020
taco eater : Quattro Audi. from Kensington, CT United States
These wrecked my snowflake mag.. bummer. Spacers are useless. You need something else,  not sure what. Maybe washers?

Make sure nothing is grinding.  Make sure your hub isn't getting HOT.

5 of 5 a good upgrade Thursday, October 26, 2017
taco eater : squirrel from Lancaster, PA
This conversion kit is great and imo essential if you're going fast on snowflakes. If you're like me, you probably don't have a 12mm drill bit laying around to drill out the brake plate. I used a 1/2" drill bit, which is .7mm larger but worked fine.

5 of 5 Possible sanding required Tuesday, July 18, 2017
taco eater : CHOOSEDEATH from San Jose DRUNKS
Great product! Definitely did have to drill out the brake plate. Also had to sand down the axles a tad so the bearings would fit on em but no biggie

Def a bazillion times smoother ride than loose ads bearings!
