where do i begin with this pipe.

right off the bat, I had to widen the exhaust header bolt holes as they were not spaced properly and would have surely ruined my cylinder threads if i had torqued them down regardless. this is my second estoril so i've already had to deal with the pedal clearance issues, so whatever.
The finish on this pipe, is beyond dogshit. youd probably expect it to maybe just flake off and become rusty but the entire finish ends up boiling and pooling at the bottom of the pipe. as others have said, get your bbq paint and wire wheel ready.
that being said I probably would not entertain the option of switching pipes ANY time soon. I will use this pipe until maybe a really bitchin crankpipe comes out that can compete with this.
if you're willing to do the work, this pipe is for you. if you want a bolt on ready to rip solution this is not your bag baby.

Great pipe - more work than I bargained for

Traded my circuit pipe for this bad boy - Went from 'pings' to low 'thumps' which gives it a nice growl. The performance is definitely there. And the nice, shiny clearcoat looked thick and robust.
But...
There ended up being a lot of hidden costs associated with this pipe. $42 for the MLM pedal extender for the pedal to clear the pipe. $20 for a crow foot set to get it torqued properly (exhaust stud is way close to the pipe, can't fit a socket). $30 for primer & paint (and a few hours of sanding & painting) when the clear coat began blistering off after my 2nd ride. Kickstand smacks the bottom of the pipe taking off the finish, ended up winding baling wire around the cross-piece of the stand to keep it from swinging up all the way.
Ended up with a pipe I'm happy with, but it took a lot of extra time & money to get there - More like $230 than the $130 (sale) price tag. Didn't see other people having most of these problems, sobe aware, it could end up being a whole project.

Awesome pipe, lost a star due to warped header

Really a nice pipe. Runs great, sounds great, is unique.. and best of all it is really well priced. BUT, mine came with a very warped header... like when I laid the header flat on a piece of glass there was about 1.5mm of curve to it, so it would not seat on an exhaust gasket right out of the box.. Not a huge deal... belt sanderdized and it flattened out great, seats good with single gasket, no scooby doo sandwitch for this pipe!... good news is the plate is thick enough to sand down a bit and not make it flimsy... Overall totally worth it.. Great pipe. Buy it. just be ready to flatten that header if needed. then you can tall people "I gotta change my muffler jet" and they will look at you like you are crazy. I wondered where to put the strange adjustable bolts where I wouldnt lose them... and I realized , I guess they are basically a jet... they go with the jets... they are just the strangest jet ever... but now I can re jet my exhaust? huh? ok..

I bought this for my Maxi and installation took no more than five minutes. Can't wait to run it, my project is almost finished.

We love this pipe and have purchased 7 of them. And we will continue to buy them for every build we can. But after ripping a bike apart a few times over because it ran like trash. We figured out one of these pipes had a cork plugging the pipe right at the silencer. Maybe part of manufacture pressure test? Had to remove the silencer to see it. Really ruined a few hours and made us question our build skills until the only possible thing left to look for was and exhaust restriction and bam there it was. So look out if you put this thing on and you don't run right or at all.

Put this on my V1 and saw a big improvement on low and mid range with a stock motor. Just had to file the flange holes and make myself a nice bracket. The header is quite large so take the studs out and use some really short (12mm on mine) M6 allen bolts.
Helps with the hills. Also barely louder than the stock pipe.

Pretty Good for 50-70cc

The Good:
It's got a multistage chamber and is adjustable bleed. It's got a huge baffle and is infact very quiet when the M8 is plugged in the end. The welds seem good and it bolts up to Maxi / Magnum with no hassles as the rear hanger offers a lot of adjustment (use a bracket for Magnum)
The Bad:
Most of these issues come with time. The clear coat is going to burn and peal off. Once I hit about 350F the whole header and part of the cone clear pealed off in one ride. The baffle is gonna rattle loose and start dripping oil all over the chamber. That oils gonna get on your rear wheel and burn and smoke off. Luckily you can just buy a new baffle. Last the header is 23.5 mm which is fine for most things but kinda sucks for big engines.
Performance:
Low end is okay I suppose. The pipe hits in the mids and pulls through the highs. This is pretty good if you're trying to go as fast as possible, if you're city blasting I'd stick with a Proma Circuit.

This pipe was an upgrade from the Techno Boss I got with my treats kit v2 and it effing RIPS. I No longer feel like an asshole coming off of a red light. Seriously it's got the whole range, lows to high but the mids are exceptional. Once I reach top speed I lay off the throttle a bit and just cruise. For once my rpms aren't all over the place and it's all thanks to this bad ass pipe.

Been on my watchlist for over a year and finally bought this sidebleed. Extremely happy I did!! The improvement over my last pipe (Boss) was incredible how drastic that pipe was doing nothing for the performance compared to this pipe. I live in NYC so there aren't too many places to top it out, but even riding on the highway, at wide open throttle at what I thought was top speed this pipe allows my bike to keep pulling faster.. Crazy sauce. Engine: ported, airsal 70cc, super stuffy crank with a 15 bing.
The bad:
Pedals DO NOT work out of the box. You will need to cut and re-weld the pedals
Buddy pegs do not fit. I had to re-weld one of them so it wouldn't hit on the top side of the baffle.
The exhaust bracket didn't match the slot on the exhaust so I had to drill a new screw hole to match up with the slot on the pipe.
Otherwise this is one of the best purchases I've made for the overall performance of my bike. Couldn't be more stoked!
