5 of 5 Budget build?? This is your pipe!! Friday, September 11, 2020
taco eater : Tom De from Salem, MA United States
Here is the set up..70cc "Airsal" kit 50cc hi hi head 15mm Bing 83 jet and this pipe...your good.  A metric ton of low end, and pulls allllll the way to 45 depending on gearing. Massive about of torque as well.
Had the same setup with a boss pipe, much less low-end and loss of torque.

4 of 5 Best stock puch pipe Tuesday, March 26, 2019
taco eater : Graham Motzing from Eau Claire, WI United States
If you're looking for a pipe for a stock cylinder puch this is the one to get. Best low end and midrange and still pulls well in the higher rpm.  42-43 from this setup with a stock cylinder and 15 bing,  switching to a boss gets the same bike to 46 but total bummer mid range.

The new one - clear coat- is a major downgrade.  The old black one had great paint and an indestructable circlip mounted silencer.  This one uses two bolts and a goofy arrangement that is not as secure.  Be sure to use loctite and don't over-tighten them.

Sucks they changed it, was a 5 star, now its only 4.

4 of 5 Good pipe Saturday, September 22, 2018
taco eater : Ed
Very loud. Definitely need earplugs when riding. Maybe I can rig up something to replace the glass pack muffler it comes with. Welds on the muffler holder are good, must have been updated since that previous review. Make sure to tighten those nuts down tight, maybe 10 ft-lbs. Loctite maybe. I had 2 nuts vibrate off, and the can was dangling. And without the can, this thing is machine gun loud. Oh, and it seems to give tons of mid-range power. My 70cc bike wheelies now.

2 of 5 Good Pipe... till the baffle snaps off. Tuesday, June 6, 2017
taco eater : Kackman from Duluth, MN United States
This baffle is way to heavy for the cheap metals and welds on this pipe. Vibration from normal use, and the baffle clean broke off within two weeks of use... but who needs the baffle anyway. Loud pipes save lives. Just know, your baffle will not last.

3 of 5 Magnum Sunday, July 19, 2015

This does not fit on magnum unless the old exhaust is cut and welded onto new setup. However once does sounds good.

3 of 5 sounds\looks rad Friday, February 20, 2015
taco eater : mattywins from NH United States
For you magnum riders this pipe doesn't allow your kickstand to fully retract causing the kickstand to rest on the bottom of the exhaust but still rideable. Also the one I got was slightly twisted where it mounts to the cylinder causing a leak. Maybe shave the gasket a little or add another?! Otherwise ide give it twelve tacos for looking awesome!

P.s dueling up pipe gaskets worked perfect!

5 of 5 Greatest pipe for otherwise stock puchs... Wednesday, January 29, 2014
taco eater : derek stahl from Denver, CO United States
14 bing, lightened clutch, raise and widen exhaust 2mm, lower intake 2mm, cut skirt as needed, 18x45 will give you a 40+ bike with good take off.
This is hands down my favorite pipe for stock cylinders.

4 of 5 If your bike is ugly... Monday, September 2, 2013
taco eater : Anonymous Person from Sioux Falls, SD United States
My 78 puch maxi is ugly. With the clear coat, this pipe is kind of ugly too. That is what makes it a perfect fit. There is nothing worse than a nice shiny pipe on an old faded moped. If you embrace the ugly, you get bonus style points. YEAH!

P.S. I just wish the baffle wasn't so, you know, nice-looking.

P.P.S. I suppose it did help a little with speed, too. But who cares?

5 of 5 Not much more speed, but nice torque bump Monday, June 13, 2011
taco eater : Sean L. from Tucson, AZ
Bolted this onto my Pinto. Previous setup was a stock motor with 14mm Bing, Treats hi-flow, hi-comp early-style head, stock cigar with baffle holes opened to 11/32" and 17/45 gearing. It could get me to 32mph on level ground.

With the GP, I'm hitting 35mph on level ground. Not much extra on the top end, but it noticably adds to the midband power. It isn't much louder than my drilled cigar and adds a muted poppiness to the exhaust note.

As others have said, this pipe is a good add-on for a stock E50. Add a hi-torque head for even more pull. Finish is pretty good, but check the exhaust flange before bolting it up; I had to file down some warpage from when it was brazed on.
