new polini kits come with a little instuction pamphlet instructing you to use Hondabond (silicone sealant) INSTEAD of the intake gaskets (that are still included.) If you do this you MUST either add an extra m5 washer or use shorter bolts for the two threaded intake mount holes closest to the engine case. Otherwise you can punch a tiny hole through the casting and you will have a bad air leak that's hard to track.

I’m Ruined Forever

Now I will never be impressed again, Polini has ruined it for me! This kit is legendary for a reason. Great casting, chamfering is perfect. just had to file a lil fin flashing here and there for aesthetics, and cleaned up the intake mating surface. Slapped it on and 45-50 right out of the box and I’m barely touching half throttle w a 15 Bing/Proma GP! I haven’t even touched the transfers or ports -YET. Unreal, just get it and research how to tune it right, this thing is beastly!!

This time the cylinder casting was flawless and the ports were finished so good you could have unbox it and bolt it right up..The only thing I did was gap the ring and prepair the piston...

This thing won me a gold trophy from Neil and $100 at tomahawk cup. But it eats clutches, main bearings, cranks, spins clutch bells, bangs up starter plates, and spun a bearing in my cases. But it is soo much fun and spins soooo many rpm's. I have it on an e50 and say "see ya later variator" to my buddies on top end.. with my tall gears...
GET IT!!!!!
NOW..... While it's in stock...

Ran great for the first 5 mins after break in when I decided to go just a little bit too lean on the main. Blammo seize city. Back to the drawing board. *sigh*

chamfer your ports, check your ring gap, run a temp gauge, and don't cheap-out on the pipe.
leave all your friends bikes in the dust ALL day long.

God this thing is sick. You almost don't even want to put it on and just hang it on the wall and look at it. As any one who know any thing knows this thing any for noobs. Don't even try if you haven't tuned and learnd from some of the others easy kits like kstar and alukit. Don't mess with this thing with out a temp gauge either. Any way got this on a tomos a35 and it totaly blows the others out of the water. The only strait a35 kit that's even close is the parmakit and trust me that thing ant nothing to this! But if you have learnd from the other kits don't be scard just read every thing you can about this beast and dive in. She is worth the money.

i love these on an e50. get a nice hard hitting pipe to tune around and this thing will give you some mean pulling high revs! 500 miles of break in time before you blast to hard and watch the temp! not for rookies...as for the previous post. more oil means less fuel which makes the bike run leaner which will make your temp rise. 50/01 with good synthetic ester.
