(a*(pi*(b/2)^2))/1000=74.44cc
where:
a=Puch E50/ZA50/Z50 stroke length = 43mm
b=Metra kit piston bore = 46.95mm
Sorry to burst your bubble boiz n galz but it's not 80cc. I'm sure the kit rips regardless.

great kit and really pulls hardest with an 8p in the 8-11k range. the only negative thing i can say is the quality has significantly been much worse with the last kit I bought. both intake and exhaust surfaces had been coated the same as the kit, but had a lot of imperfections and raised casting bumps, also around the intake studs(which are pressed in) its all weird and raised up. the exhaust threads are also wayyy shorter than they should be and i could only fit a 15mm bolt inside and those even got a little stripped on the very end. I helicoiled both holes and it's been great. all and all probably worth the time and money putting this kit together right, does better than a gila in the city, and blasts the frenchies in the top end.

Added aluminium to E50 cases, matched all the way down, super stuffy crank, kehin pe20, NGK B8HS, and homoet 8p. Shit is fast! Powerband hits at around 20 from there on after you better hang on for dear life. Big massive fins cool down quickly, and its cast iron bore is almost idiot proof (in terms of seizing). No reed valve so your filter will get oily, but its not like it'll ruin your pants. Only thing left to do is get a 3shoe clutch and maybe attempt mild porting. Very satisfied indeed.
Oh yeah and the black finish looks like sex on my black swinger

Exhaust port problem?

This kit is actually designed and sold by Metrakit for the Puch "Condor" which we don't have over here on this side of the "Pond". I used it in another Derbi piston-ported project and it seized up just below the exhaust port . I was using known-good carburation, exhaust, timing, extra break-in oil, etc. Upon disassembly-inspection the problem was very likely due to not having a "bridge' across the huge and (TOO?)WIDE exhaust port. I believe that the rings DID NOT have enough "support" and would "grow" into the port and cause the problem but I can't swear to it. I've been doing this stuff for 15 years now but, hey, I'm still learning! Anyone else have this problem?

Still breaking the kit in, but so far there is no hill I can't destroy.
Exhaust mount surface is a bit uneven, but the big crush gasket makes up for it. Making room for the cylinder in the case is a lot of work like any other 70+ kit, and to do the port matching, some material will need to be added, or you can simply not match 100% like I did.
