3 of 5 It fits, but only with some bending! Sunday, March 1, 2015
taco eater : Rabies from Winnipeg, MB Canada
Bar needs some slight bending on both mounts to fit right, it works, but if to a welder you might as well skip it and weld up your own. Good part if you can't weld though, does the trick and the bike does actually feel a bit more stable.

2 of 5 Needs to be redesigned Thursday, November 1, 2012
taco eater : Mark Johnson from Omaha, NE United States
I have a 1977 Puch Maxi. I had to cut away a little from the seat post THEN take it to the machine shop to move the holes back 1/2" I also added 14mm more metal on each side. Looks great but now the gas cp doesn't come off correctly. Great product but poor design holes.

3 of 5 Not for a Maxi Wednesday, November 16, 2011
taco eater : woodbang! from phila pa
this needs fabrication on the bike and the brace itself to fit on every maxi I've seen it on including my own... haven't heard of it failing in bracing... haven't ever heard of a maxi crumpling either though...

relocated the bolt holes and very slightly opened up the round bracket a bit more and bolted up to Pa50II. took 15 mins. so far working well for a top tank conversion. call it a hobbit bar!

5 of 5 Should be called a Hobbit EBR crossbar Wednesday, May 4, 2011
taco eater : rob fracisco from OAKLAND
this was a straight up bolt on job for my Hobbit with a long seat, but definitely required modifications to work with my Maxi (which i originally bought it for).  it should just be called a Hobbit crossbar that will also work on Maxi's with minor modifications..
