Heck yeah Mike, I told you it would work! This will give any 45mm kit some real power.
Seriously folks, you can't go wrong with this head. Get it! Or cast one yourself like a mid-evil blacksmith? Idk, live your best life.

Does not work on 45mm Tomos Alukit

Don't be fooled.
Despite the fact the description says "usable on the numerous 70cc kits like athena, tccd, kstar..." it did not work on my tomos 45mm kit (Alukit for the people) regardless of gasket used. I'm not sure why this is supposed to be compatible as the mating surfaces simply do not match up. It's not even close... anyone should be able to see this as there is a visible gap between the head and the rest of the motor.
EDIT TREATS : this combo is used by hundreds of people. I suspect something else is going on if you are having issues with it sealing. Contact us and we will try to help you out!

The last sentence of the description mentions using your stock head with this setup...how does one use their stock head with this Hi-Perf replacement head?
To borrow a phrase from the olde-tyme Saturday morning cartoons...What is the meaning of this?

Solid casting and good machining. Works well with 45mm Airsal.
.5mm edge clearance, check your squish and adjust with the right thickness base and head gaskets.

Put this on the Malossi.Use their head gasket. The piston comes extremely close to the dome and with a stock YT 60 gasket it will make contact so dont try it.Also dont let the carbon build up on your piston or it will make contact otherwise it makes some radical power.Dont worry about reworking the dome just keep your piston clean and be careful.

it does need to be reworked for best results. this thing was wayyyy up there in compression numbers.. like 260psi. you gotta rework the combustion chamber to remove the negative squish and drop the compression down to the 160 range for best results. after you do that... look out. i would not run this head on a malossi kit, on a qt50 without reworking the head.

I just mounted this head on a 44mm airsal kit and it works great. Man this thing has some compression! I was worried about pre-detonation but so far so good. For 30 bucks I'm stoked!

edited for proper review: ok I removed the head gasket and with some more tuning of the VM20 it rips. Very nice boost in acceleration and top speed. Gained 5 mph. 49-50 MPH with out having to barely tuck at all.
