Make sure you get all the accessory hardware for this bad boy. Get yourself a rubber mallet too. Use the stock seat post to do some of your hammering. And use Lube for them ball bearings nobody likes dry friction.

Look pretty sick! These were replaced from the stock Puch forks. Look like they were built to be reliable!

Nice forks and much better than the stock. If you’re putting them puch you might order the puch “EBR speedometer bracket by PIKE” so you can mount the speedo.

get the lower race shim

As mentioned in other comments, these do not come with a lower bearing race. If you buy a new headset for this like I did, you still need to ORDER THE LOWER RACE SHIM. Or use the old lower race and shim from your stock forks. But if you ask me, you should just get all fresh parts. It isn't that much more $, plus you can damage the oem race and shim trying to remove it from your old forks.
Oh another thing, these do not come with a headset nut! 26mm threading is what you need. I recommend getting the version 3 puch fork nut so it can't bottom out on itself when tightening.

These forks looks great, and are much better than my old ones but....... I did have a hard time getting the front rim on. It almost made it look like it wasn't gonna fit but oh, it fit alright.

Good Replacement Forks for the Money

I put these on my Sears Free Spirit for a lower stance. They look nice and the wheel and brake mounting was perfect. They don't come with a lower headset bearing race, so reuse your old one or buy a new one. I had a hell of a time beating on the lower bearing race because the head tube was oblonged from where they stamped the part number on it. My only other complaint is the handlebar mounting holes are just stamped into the top plate and threaded (no weld nuts) so they will strip out more easily than stock forks.

Much better than stock forks. Put these on my Magnum to lower it a bit. These are bit stiff, as the other reviews stated, but I prefer it. They look clean, the powder coating is nice and durable. If you want to use disc brakes, these are not the forks you're looking for.

I went from a set of K10s to these and these are much stiffer, you feel alot more bumps in the road. Also these to not come with a lower bearing race to hold the forks in place.

these not only work alot better/stronger/stiffer and are built much sturdier but im pretty sure they even shave some weight and only took a couple hours and my '78 maxi newport was riding smooth would recommend buying bearing kit too no point in putting rusty bearings/rings on these nice forks
p.s. stabilizer bar is necessary nut not all that sturdy
