5 of 5 no need to be a hero Thursday, June 18, 2020

Just buy the tool; out with the old set and in with the new set in 5 minutes.  Grease the threads before use, and ensure it's all/still lined-up horizontally after each full turn.   The machining and diameters are perfect for the task.

5 of 5 Worth it! Friday, June 5, 2020

A lotta dough, but made changing the bushings a snap!  Like any forcing screw, I put a little moly grease on the threads and it didn't even break a sweat.  I don't know or care if the bushings went in perfectly straight, and neither does the bike.  My belt wears well, the clutch drum doesn't hit the pedal, life is good!

4 of 5 great puller must have. Saturday, April 25, 2020
taco eater : RICHARD CAMACHO from Union, NJ United States
the puller did the job for me I was able to remove a set of bushings from my moby the only problem I had was that the long nut that came with the puller got hot as I was trying to turn it clock wise and the nut would not come out I had to put it into a vise to take off the nut by the time it came out I can see that the  threads where starting to wear off on the bolt that came with the puller. I had to go to home depot and buy a stainless steel bolt and nut start on my other moby which also has bad bushings otherwise the pullrer was a great idea I hope the bolt and nut problem gets resolved.

4 of 5 Very high quality and right to tolerance. Friday, January 19, 2018

Daaang this thing is smooth. It's soooo expensive though!

Truth be told, I still suck at getting those damn things in straight. The tool can slip sometimes and let it crank down at kind of an angle.

5 of 5 The fuckin game changer Wednesday, January 17, 2018
taco eater : Jonathan Feldman from Portland, OR United States
Motor mounts are the weak link of the moby, we know this.
This tool makes swapping em easy as shit.
That's fuckin' dandy....

BUT THE REAL VALLUE OF THIS TOOL... is the ability to finely adjust where your motor mounts live in the perspective hangers. AKA how deep are they in the hanger and which side are they closer to.

Why is this is important you ask?

This is how you get your belt alignment perfect with your clutch pulley. This isn't so much an issue on the traditional pulley system because the pulley normally sits very close to the frame. But with clutch pulley it sits considerably further out. Like A LOT. What you end up doing is getting the smallest head insert that you can on the variator side and slamming it against the motor mount. However once that is the done you still need to scoot it over even more. This is where the tool comes in. You can slam on that variator side motor mount as far over as you need it.

5 of 5 A must have for Motobecanes!!! Thursday, May 8, 2014
taco eater : Dave Mazorra from Sacramento, CA United States
This makes removing and installing your motor mounts super easy with no damage to your mounts or frame.  You can also use it to help dial in the location of the variator side mount if you need a little more wiggle room to line up your variator and pulley.  It's a quality piece and very well thought out.  Another amazing product from Motomatic!
