This VM20 looks amazing. It is a beast next to a stock QT50 carb. I love that it is a pull choke. That eliminates 1 cable from the bars. I also like that this is a flange mount vs clamp since so many people have issues with the VM18 clamp style. I chose this for the flange more than anything... but also more mixture!

Skip over the vm18 clamper for this bad boy here. she'll never snap off on ya and them 2 extra mm's will give you more mmmph on yer ped! Jetting on this sucker is a little trickier than the 18 though, I was using an 80 on the 18 and I can't figure out what I am on this guy.

by far the nicest carb I've ever had
but make sure you buy jets beforehand. this lil nugget comes with a GIRTHY 180 main jet and a fairly meaty idle jet @ 22.5
I'll edit this after I finish tinkering

Ya you, the guy trying to decide between buying a dellorto like every other racer out there or to venture into the promised land of mikuni, get this and you will forever be grateful for the journey you embarked upon. Also, its not as hard to tune as one may think, a little research and tuning and it rips like no other

Get a 17.5 idle jet, use it. If you use the mlm intake to malossi 4 pedal block, screw the shitty hole bolt in first, then the others, that way it will all fit. Torque the intake bolts to 6-8lbs. Also this carb doesn't like airfilters very much. Running it without one is fine

Put this on my ‘78 hobbit pa50ii with the DR 70cc kit and the mlm intake, thing is loud, sexy and fast, jet it down, even if you have high compression, I suppose a 17.5 idle and I haven’t figured Out what main jet yet.

Have this carb coupled with the MLM VM20 intake on my '78 NC50. Jetted 150, 17.5. Works great!!!

It really is that much better than Dellorto.. I mean soo much easier to tune and deal with.... running mine with treats reed kit, gonna get the malosi 4 petal so different intake for that...change the idle needle to 17.5 like others advised, and i'm running 140 main, first shot and its purrrfect... maybey dropping to a 120, but im happy. Bolt on awesomeness, my #1 carb 4 eva

Plug and play! Installed with a bunch of other random performance parts on my NX50 and it just... WORKED.
While the bike runs, the vibration transferred through the MLM intake causes this carb to puke fuel through the atmospheric overflows. When this occurs, the bike cuts out due to fuel starvation. This has made fine-tuning challenging.
Also, my VM20 came with a 100% plastic float, which is non-adjustable. Not necessarily the fault of Treats, but I know this was not previously the norm for this carb.
