ive had this light for about 3 months now. i've rubber mounted it from the start, by drilling into my tomos fender, and using fuel line as rubber washers.

i crashed the ped racing and my basket took the housing off the light. i have the housing still, but havnt glued it back on. lights gone strong in the rain uncovered and all.

lights awesome looking and bright. lasted about half a season. going to buy a nother one and see how this one will hold up. i agree. try to rubber mount it!

after rubber-mounting the second one on my ciao, it lasted a week before the brake light went out.  as much as i want to like this light, i'm convinced it just can't withstand what it is being asked to do.  in my opinion, i'm not asking alot.  this product is not well-built enough for what it is intended to be used for.

it's nice-looking in it's compactness, and it's bright.  i got one to use as a side-mount on a kitted ciao.  it was completely destroyed in a month.  it's not a super-durable go-through-anything unit, for sure.  i got another one and rubber-mounted it using two stacks of neoprene washers.  if you are going to mount this light on fast rigid or mount it low enough where it won't get shock absorption, you will definitely want to rubber-mount it.  we'll see how my second one holds up to the abuse.

This taillight is wicked.I was a little worried at first it would be to small but it's perfect.replaced the big ugly stock light on my 77 garelli ssxl and works great.super bright led greatness.I might just get 2 for the hell of it.ohhh and the plate light gives a nice glow.buy it don't think about it just do it now.I said now stop reading and hit buy
