Upgraded from stock 12mm Bing on a Magnum MKII 2HP. The 82 jet was way to big so I started at 72 jet...and she is now a Brap Queen. Paired with MLM tall Za50 intake and Peoples Pipe.
The only downside is the upper gasket tore way too easily, so I'd recommend purchasing a thicker top gasket sold here on Treats. Also buy a bottom bowl gasket ring as well. Bowl flooded due to old gasket deterioration (probably due to being NOS).

Great carb. The genuine BING is the way to go. I have not had luck with 'knock offs' or 'clones'. Get the real thing. I have these in multiple bikes. The 82 Jet that comes in them is way too big for MOST applications. I've settled in at anywhere between 64-70 jets for my Maxi set ups. My Magnum with MLM Velocity Stack and 15mm intake took the 82 jet that came with it. Needle in the middle. Bikes really run well. Go for the real thing.

If you want more power out of your stock ped, this is the Carburetor for you! it came with an 82 Main Jet, so i bought all the 60's range Jets played around with it and am now running 68 Main jet with the needle on the bottom clip. My Pinto is now a ripper! WOULD RECOMMEND PURCHASING EXTERA JETS AND ANOTHER CARB BOWL GASKET WHEN YOU BUY THIS DONT JUST STICK WITH THE 82 MJ!! once you find the right jet you can replace the bowl gasket with the fresh one and have peace of mind knowing your ped rocks, and will not leak!

I've used this for over a year, though it was a few $'s cheaper then. Great product, no issues, seals still pretty good. Well worth the $91! This carb rips, gets me 40+mph.

but like a baby; if it tinkles clean your float pin and change your gasket... and it will be all better.
i suggest the rubber bowl gasket.
also. the best upgrade for newbies. ;)

I'm the experimental type that tried to drill out a 12mm to an astonishing 18.5mm just for shits and giggles (almost successfully). OK ok, I'm a cheap bastard. After begrudgingly purchasing one of these, I can honestly say I wish I had done so sooner. The threads... all soft and new. The brass, all shiny and seizure-inducing when brought into direct sunlight.
Not to mention the 5 extra mph over my stock 12er.
I'll do my best, lovely Bing, to always use the right size tools. I'll always try, sweet siren of my heart, to never turn too tight. I'll often clean you, you bubbly-shaped mass of once molten metal.
Gootchie cootchie coo.
