Spent the last year with this clutch in many different Tomos builds. From stock, mildly kitted, and on my bakers bike (Search Magic Mulberry on moped army) It's a BIG upgrade over stock clutches and probably the best performance clutch out there for the price! We used and abused this clutch on bakers this year. After 1300+ miles (and a few hundred before that testing the bike) there was zero wear on our pads, consistent performance, and excellent slippage. I added 3 sipes to each of the pads to get better fluid dispersion across the pads. I just use a cross cut Dremel bit (roughly 4-6mm) and cut about 1/2 way down. These sipes really REALLY help if you're experiencing abnormal shifting or chatter in yer Thomas. Also, pick up some even stiffer clutch springs! Search around for the jammer red or black springs in the search bar. Those ended up being the best springs in my testing.
I love this clutch! Easy to swap springs, super robust, and bakers dozen proven! You won't be disappointed!

1 of 5 Very very poor engineering Friday, July 5, 2024
taco eater : Someone somewhere from USA
Was very excited to try this clutch. The engineering is awful. The thing is just too big. There is just not enough clearance for it to work well. The whole thing should have been .020 narrower. The clutch material sits so far on that it rubs on the radius on the bell where the fluid release holes are. Tried it on 4 different bells and it rubbed on even the smoothest spot welds. Even dremeled down the inner arbor of the clutch sits wayyy too close to the bell for comfort. And for whatever reason once the clearance issue are fixed it makes the transmission very loud. There is no signs of rubbing or contact now with a modified and smoothed clutch bell but swap it out with a stock clutch and the transmission is 10x quieter. This is no more than a paperweight.

5 of 5 Tons of potential-make your bike a wheelie machine Sunday, June 20, 2021

Heaviest springs included fully engage around 5400rpm...but pro tip: Malossi Maxi springs (https://www.treatland.tv/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=malossi-springs-2911326) work and will give you even more RPM for dig ripping. Around 6k on the whites, 6300ish on the yellows, and 6500+ with the reds. Really helps get on the pipe quickly if you have a big boy kit and high RPM pipe setup, and reduces the 1-2 shift delay if you're on a 2sp. Not as good as a vari, but gotta take what you can get. Using on a Gila kitted Tomos on a 90s GT Dyno that goes way too fast way too quickly. Note that low speed cruising (~20mph and under) is pretty much impossible with the yellows and reds, slips too much and makes a ton of heat, so be prepared to blast-n-coast around slow neighborhoods.

This clutch... this clutch is excellent! smooth shift into second and keeps the power, hills are really nice too, very torquey. Only issue I had was putting it on, the included shim did not let the crank spin so I ground the spot welds on the bell and the 3 bolts on the clutch with a dremel and all is fine. Solid

3 of 5 Bolt Issues Tuesday, February 13, 2018
taco eater : Casey E. from Washington, DC United States
If you're having problems getting the clutch to spin freely in the clutch bell like I did, you're going to need to buy some shims or file down the bolts on the back of the Jammer. The bolts stick out slightly and catch the clutch bell which was a pain in the arse for a novice mechanic to diagnose. Hope the next batch of Jammers come without this issue.

5 tacos for treats customer service.

Pretty sick.
The next trick should be a 2nd gear version.
That'd be a treat.

5 of 5 total ripper, perfect upgrade for any tomos Monday, May 22, 2017
taco eater : Will C from san francisco, CA United States
installed this on a targa lx with sidebleed estoril (smaller end bleed), ported stock cyl, 15 sha, blue spring 2nd gear and stock (weakest) jammer springs.

insane takeoff, slips right into the pipe in 1st gear then the blue spring in 2nd keeps it well into the pipe while shifting.

seriously, this will wake up any tomos a35 or a55! would probably even be sick with the weakest springs on a bone stock tomos.

no more cork!! yes!
