5 of 5 Low key awesome Saturday, January 20, 2024
taco eater : Jay Rivett from Sacramento, CA United States
Inexpensive kits.  Come well prepped from the factory.  I champfer but it is not really needed for these usually.  The rings are well gapped.  Slap it on and tune it up.  Do a reliable 40ish.
Out of the box they do need some work to make them more fun.
Take some time and reed adapt it.  The dio reed adapter works great to add a v-force block into the mix.  Just gotta open up the intake are a bit more and cut a big ol' window in the piston. Hits 50 pretty easily and can ride there all day.  I am just rocking a 16sha and it was a blast to ride paired with the 2shoe claw.  Hills were easy to get up.

I have since retired the kit due to it breaking off part of the skirt on the kit.  But I would have no problems building one of these up on another bike for a cheapo build.

5 of 5 Nice cheap kit Sunday, June 5, 2022
taco eater : Ed from NY, United States
I did what Jonathan Feldman and Mark from Somerville recommended and got the 70cc low comp head. Works great. The kit has been on the bike for about 3 years, 1000 miles. Running Bing 15, 3d printed intake trumpet (no filter), Proma gp pipe, treats stuffed crank (I THOUGHT this kit ruined my stock crank; on disassembly nothing was wrong, but I replaced it anyway) and jammer clutch (with low 1hp gearing, doing wheelies, this kit annihilated my 2 shoe). Regeared, it keeps up with traffic from a stop on a flat. On 30mph speed limit backroads with decent hills it's nice. Never drops below 25mph even on pretty steep hills. 25mph roads it's perfect. Getting about 50mpg.

5 of 5 Tomos.... Or Batavus? Tuesday, July 6, 2021
taco eater : Danger from Winnipeg
I loved this kit on my Targa, but swapped out for a Polini.
Then, a local guru adapted that same kit to an M48, and now I can love my Batavus too!

5 of 5 How it saved my $25 Maxi Wednesday, May 27, 2020
taco eater : Kurt Van Luven / kurtgarelli79 on M.A. from Evanston, WY United States
I Bought a bike, it was seized. So, why go stock? Put this on, 2 base gaskets, 1 head gasket. With stock gears and head, I got 38mph (PHBG 19mm/Techno Boss).
Put on the Lo Comp head, 46mph! And The bearings and seals are original. What can I say but WOW. No I must go, bearings, seals and a Rad Nitto seat have arrived!

5 of 5 wOw Wednesday, October 2, 2019

This kit rocks on my a35 Tomos, nice power with a 15mm carb and the high comp head. Only issue I had was the spacing, I tried it with the spacer but the piston did not travel all the way up in the cylinder, so I removed it. Then the piston hit the spark plug so I used two head gaskets and sanded them down to get the right squish. Also used some permatex copper spray gasket to get a better seal after sanding. Nice kit for a Tomos if you want a Frankenstein.

4 of 5 Killin the god damn game Wednesday, October 10, 2018
taco eater : Jonathan Feldman from Portland, OR United States
Here's how it goes down.
We all know this kit is notorious for the piston hitting the head.... hence the spacer.
What ya gotta do is purchase is the LOW COMP 70cc PUCH HEAD. That shit has a thicc step to it before the squishband.  Slap it together with that head and stock gaskets. No spacer!
The piston will clear the exhaust port at BDC. You will have way too much squish but due to the piston dome you will not have any weird issues. More than enough compression.

Anyways. Cylinder seems to be pretty damn good quality and robust as far as how much abuse it can take. port
map is looks pretty similar to kstar. Except definitely a bit more rippy; probably a good bit more exh port duration.

5 of 5 Ez pz lemon... not a lemon... Tuesday, August 28, 2018
taco eater : Casey Marnocha from Milwaukee, WI United States
This kit is rad, dad. Like super eazy. I didnt bother case matching or getting the right intake manifold for it and it still gets me up in the 40s no problem. Ran it rich for a few days then lucked out on the 15mm Bing stock 82 jet being just the right size. Yay.

Now I gotta balance n true my wheels since they’ve never ‘tated so quickly before.

5 of 5 So so easy Wednesday, December 20, 2017
taco eater : W FOwler from Buchanan, VA United States
If you are new to mopeds buy this and a low comp head, do not use the spacer, case match, bolt it on, tune it up and bam mid 40s.  Tweak some more and hit 50.  Nearly indestructible

5 of 5 50 for 60 Wednesday, April 26, 2017
taco eater : Jared Diaz from Laguna Niguel, CA United States
This has got to be the best speed bargain out there.  For $60 you get a kit that is capable of hitting close to 50 mph with basic supporting mods! I have a 15mm bing, 15mm intake, tecno boss, 17x45 gears, performance filter, and I hit 48mph. The low end torque is much improved over the 50cc hi hi head/cylinder kit that I had and it still looks stock!

4 of 5 Went on easy, no problems Saturday, April 22, 2017
taco eater : Brent Bublitz from Milwaukee, WI United States
paired it with a 15 Bing, high comp head and a Boss pipe. No spacing issues. Still running rich for break in, but it has great low end and has given me no trouble at all. Don't be stupid with it and it will be great.
