Hate to say it but I feel like most of these low star reviews are user install error. You can't be ham-fisted when installing these. Don't over-torque, make sure the brass fuel line is in the proper direction, don't let it spin inside the frame/tank. Literally works every time.

Leaked and leaked and leaked. Ruined the new paint on my maxi and then snapped in half. Complete waste of time and money. Would give it zero stars if I could.

flows good but "off" position drips. this product is especially ill-suited for use with a leaky bing. now theres no paint left on the floor where the maxi parks.

The petcock does not say which position is the on/off/reserve that is really frustrating. Can anyone help?

I really like having a working petcock, had this one for several months and I think it's great.

Fits and works great, but after a couple of seasons 'off' has started dripping through.

This was already installed on my bike when I bought it. It worked great, but now it doesn't "snap" in at the desired selection for fuel flow. It's all creamy smooth moving which is probably not a good thing.

all gas has a dab of ethanol in it now. my gasket melted after about a year. ethanol sucks. those metal cocks don't seem to mind it tho.

I bought 2 of these to put on 2 newports that I have. I thought they'd be good, because they look stock-ish, are made in Italy, and are on the expensive side for a petcock. I was wrong -- both stopped working within 6 months. The problem has to do with the rubber washer deep within the petcock, the one that seals "off" from "main" and "main" from "reserve." If you don't use it for any extended period of time that washer gets sticky and won't switch well between the three settings. The result is either a non-functioning main or reserve, or a leak. It's hard to fix because the rubber thing gets damaged easily under its huge spring.
