Sorry treats realised I was being salty at snapping a piston ring, and that it was the fault of my big fat hands and not the kit, upon calming down I’ve realised that this kit is actually really good and so much cheaper than the kits here In the uk… just get some extra rings!! Fellow UK dwellers get some rings on Amazon, 45x1.5’m husky chainsaw rings work a treat and are cheap as chips

Remember to trim those fins before installing. Nc50 78'. An exhaust will really help you feel the power band this cylinder gives.

Packaging was great, foam box inside a box inside bubble wrap and all. Until I opened the package all the way to discover the head gasket was bent into a taco and one of the piston rings was broken into three pieces. Rough as it is I'm just upset I have order replacements and wait longer than I want to.

Fits perfectly on 1982 honda urban express

Fit my 82 urban express and required no modification of fins with the derbi head. Haven't gotten in dialed in yet, but already put my top speed up to 38. It will get faster when it isn't running so rich.
EDIT: Got a people's pipe on it and stuck a bx31 on and she'll go 50, still has more, but wheel bearings are scaring me.

I bought this kit to upgrade my NU50 from 50cc to 70cc. This with a larger carb jet, BX31 belt, and MLM stock pipe, I gained 15 MPH on the top end and got a lot of my low end back.

just slapping it on. My 1980 NC50 I just put the thing on with stock carb, jet and exhaust and it runs. Its not perfect and needs some tuning but still it was that easy.

Serious Improvements On The PA50

This kit, when combined with a bigger carb and a nice pipe significantly improved my acceleration and torque (as well as top speed, of course). It required no porting or any other modification to work, even with the stock head. My moped also now sounds like a dirt bike, which may be either a pro or a con depending on where you live. The main takeaway is that THIS THING RIPS. 100% worth the money.

This thing is crazy on my ‘78 pa50ii, grab a vm20 and a pipe to slap on this beast and get a nice head or mill your own .045 like I did, mad compression, mad torque, mad revs, mad wheelies man. You can’t get better then this for a cast iron jug.
