A nice little upgrade May 20, 2019
taco eater : Micah Shafer from Mount Pleasant , MI United States
The installation was pretty easy on this kit i didn't have to port match or take apart the engine at all. I have only drove this for about 40 miles now but so far i really like the boost for take off and mid range is decent. Clean up the sharp ports and make them buttery smooth for your rings though. i did manage to soft seize going top speed but i managed to fix that issue now. i went really fast on this and i didnt think i would based on other reviews. I hit 44mph on my Grande for a second or two and backed it off cuz im still breaking it in.

I think the other reviews missed the point.... March 14, 2019

Looking at the other reviews, sans one, it seems that most people dont understand this kit, in that its not really a "performance minded design" this is a 30mph cylinder blasted out to 64cc's, will it scream like a Polini? no, will it give you mad torque like a Malossi? also no, will it run WOT for miles at a mehhh rate of speed like a stock cylinder with a bit more of everything? Yes, yes it will, I have this cylinder on my wifes Grande, she's taken it to rallies, and we've ridden it dubs many times, it does 41 no matter what, thats with a 12/12sha, techno circuit, Polini vario, my fat ass, and her pretty self, so ya, are you trying to go fast? dont buy this kit, are you trying to have a bike with the reliability of stock and a little more power? Buy this kit, its rock solid

Ok not my fave April 23, 2014

purchased this kit, worked well for a while but then i had issue with it, gave to my friend and he is hitting 40mph on his ciao.  I have a DR on my grande and that bad boy is a beast.  I would recommend the extra money for the DR.

Nice Kit September 25, 2012

Original cylinder was seized, put this on my stock Grande, just had to do some carburetor tuning. Has a great low end as previously stated, high end is about the same.

alright kit August 9, 2011
taco eater : C.D. from Chicago, IL United States
from a dude who rides and specalizes on vespas, the quality on this is pretty decent, but there's no real "special features" to it. it is a low to mid range kit though, not huge on the top end, but if you're trying to get around at around 40ish...this is a good way to go.

get a bigger carb, and you can even rock your stock exhaust if you dont wanna spend a lot of money

Solid and Simple March 9, 2011
taco eater : Jason W from Louisville, KY
This kit is an easy upgrade from my stock cylinder.  It's more of a low and mid range kit.  Perfect for city riding.  This kit can run all day long with little risk to seizing.  If you're looking for a kit that's solid and simple...this is your kit.  Pair it with a leovince circuit pipe for extra low to mid range pep!
