5 of 5 Lip flapping fun. September 29, 2013

went from a techno circuit to this and the top end is pretty nuts. It feels like  there was nothing lost on the lower end either. All around great pip also sounds meaner, deeper than the circuit pipe.

4 of 5 city blaster, drill an extra mounting hole April 23, 2013
taco eater : simon from chicago
i had to drill an extra mounting hole which took for-freaking-ever with my cheap harbor freight drill. the mounting bracket is a good 6-7mm thick. once i had it mounted up it was worth it.  there are probably better pipes out there for top end, but who cares? this thing rips so hard through the midrange on a 70 airsal i can confidently weave through city traffic like an asshole on a sport bike.

5 of 5 Great Pipe! December 3, 2012
taco eater : brian schulz from cranston, RI United States
This is my third Pipe on my Puch TCCD 70 kit.   Previous pipe was the techno Circuit pipe. This bolted right up to the Cylinder with no problems. (I dont use stock exhaust studs so you may need hex head bolts to properly fit this)  I may had to drill 1 hole in the back mounting plate but that was it.
this pipe rips.  I snagged magnum cranks so no pedal issues.  I have ran this for 3 months now.   no chrome issues at all..
I did not lose lower end when compairing it to the circuit pipe... but I gained mid and hi range.   quality of construction is fantastic!

5 of 5 Great Pipe August 25, 2012
taco eater : Anthony Ferri from Saddle Brook, NJ United States
I absolutely love this pipe. I had a biturbo and i thought that gave it a pretty good top-end boost but this pipe blows it out of the water. low-end is pretty much the same but once this pipe hits 35 it just takes off. I put it on a streetmate and had a little problem with the bracket lining up just bent it for a good fit.

3 of 5 good for the buck June 19, 2012
taco eater : jason kluczyk from chicago, IL United States
Well, this was a temporary replacement for a rev run I had.  It's a polini and 15 bing setup.  The rev run hit hard at 25mph or so and off to the moon i went.  This pipe clearly didn't have that punch, nor it didn't feel the same top end.  This was a direct swap, no tuning or nothing. However, it did feel smooth going all the way up and it didn't feel like it like a total power loss.

3 of 5 Mediocre pipe for mediocre people. June 12, 2012
taco eater : NY GAR from NY United States
The best that I can say is that this pipe is OK. It pulls alright up top, but the acceleration is lacking. Make sure to tune your clutch.

The chrome started peeling after the first run with it. The header has a sharp kink in it. Not smooth at all. None of the holes lined up with my TCCD newport. I ended up bending the header and drilling yet another hole for my Gila. I wish these didn't come with holes already in the mounting plate. It does sound nice though. No more tinny tecno silencer for me. I just wish I could keep my center stand and pedals.

5 of 5 a better estoril #nerdrant March 14, 2012
taco eater : Justice from Manhattan, NY United States
My setup prior to bolting on the Treats pipe included a 14 bing/intake, 86 jet, high flow airfilter, 70cc kstar (matched) a estoril (restricted) and a 17/45 gear ratio. I enjoyed great low- mid end with the estoril, along with very much sub par top end, which is negligible when you live in a city anyway, but comes in handy crossing bridges.

I felt that I lost no low end, but in fact gained a stronger mid-high end boost in power compared to the estoril. The top end is what I am most happy about, when put side to side with a restricted estoril, and I am confident that with a bigger carb/intake one could get some crazy performance from the pipe.

My baby bitch issues include: Chrome began chipping off around the header, and maxi pedals do not clear it. ( like i said, baby bitch issues)

In all, if one were to find themselves at a cross roads in purchasing a puch pipe with all around power, I'd suggest spending a few extra bucks for the treat pipe.

5 of 5 super duper pipe July 18, 2011
taco eater : Dylan from San Francisco
first off this pipe is great. I have this pipe and an estoril and the treats pipe is much better.
why its better:
1. its chrome
2. the top end is ridiculous.
3. its chrome

I have a treat reed valve kit a mikuni vm and weak ends intake and all that good stuff.
i have the stock gearing and an un-tuned clutch and i can still go up whatever hill I want important for me because I live on one.  a big one.

5 of 5 already bought two July 7, 2011
taco eater : rodney from San Francisco, CA United States
this pipe, after making my bike look super sexy, scared me once it started to hit powerband. make sure you have good brakes....you will need them.

imagine having an estoril with no top end restriction...well, this is what you'd get.

so good i bought one for my two speed in black and same rules apply!
