5 of 5 It's like a whole new moped May 2, 2018

After trying the MLM Techno Circuit, and dragging it on the concrete during a sharp left turn, I decided to give this pipe a go.

I paired this with the VM18, MLM Intake port matched to the reed block, and Dual Stage Power Reeds.  The bottom end suffers the most until about 10mph. At about 18 mph, you're on the pipe with a power band all the way to 34mph.  After that my FA50 doesn't have the power to continue without me tucking or having a tail wind.  I have buried the needle at 40mph tucked with this pipe.

Build quality is on point, we'll see how the paint lasts.  The sound of this pipe is amazing.  I love rolling into stopped traffic, getting the green light, and laying on the pipe while flying by stopped cars.  It's loud enough for people to hear you, but not too loud to be annoying.

If you want better bottom end buy the Techno Circuit.  I plan on adding Red springs to my clutch to help the bottom end. Will report back when done.

2 of 5 Paint sucks. Performance is on point. October 11, 2016
taco eater : szraccoon from New Haven, CT United States
I want to like this pipe a lot more but I have had it about 8 months and the paint is already very chipped and I'm getting large rust spots. I will be repainting and I think it gives decent performance but I would never buy anything from MLM again I don't think the quality is there for the price I expected more

5 of 5 Ditch that stock pipe, YUCK!!! February 3, 2016
taco eater : Dangerous Daz from New Zealand
Fitment is spot on! super easy swap.

As others have already said power is a bit flat low down, I wouldn't say its lost power though, its about as gutless as its always been, get it over 20kph (12mph) and the 'ped rips, this thing has a powerband now! I'm on a completely stock clutch, get that dialed and there will be no stopping you!!! (literally, upgrade brakes next!)

Sounds nice too! no longer will your friends mock you over your terrible sounding moped, they will mock you for other reasons now!!! choice!

Update, fitted Malossi 'red' clutch springs from kit # 29 8747, this FA' accelerates from a standing start faster than it ever has before, I recommend them as a must have complimentary mod for this pipe. Didn't make the bike any harder to ride, gained multiple times more acceleration.

Forgot to post a review of this bad boy, so this is it.

First impression: The pip is very well made, excellent flat welds and very solid mounting bracket. The pipe feels very solid and the paint looks as if it will be very very durable (which is is, a while later).

Once the pipe was on took quite a few kicks to start (perhaps back pressure build), but after the first time it started it starts up immediately the first kick just like with the stock muffler.

Power/Sound: Dear lordy! This thing sounds so damn good, especially compared to the stock pipe. Very slight power lag very low down, but after about 13 mph it takes off. When it used to hesitate around 23 mph, it now has the most acceleration from 23-31. The bike is completely stock, and I was only hitting 26 mph before the pipe. I now am hitting about 33 top with just the pipe installed. Such a bad ass addition!

5 of 5 Super Awesome Pipe! September 20, 2014
taco eater : Jason Wiberg from Somerset, WI United States
Pipe bolted right up no issues. Was able to use Stock Exhaust Gasket Extremely well made paint does not seem like it will come off easily or chip by normal use maybe if you dumped the moped it may but i cannot see any way else, Mounting bracket is solid nice 1/4 thick steel also welds are seamless no rough edges, MLM for sure took time to get everything right sounds incredible not too loud nice tone has a deep tone not that raspy tone the stock pipe has, Boosted low end quite a bit moped takes off a lot quick my weight is around 200lbs and take of in like 2 secs instead of the 5-7secs it took before once you hit your mids the moped is gone running all stock besides this pipe hitting around 35mph at Wide open definetly  will have to re-jet or get a better Carb with pipe moped has a rich condition at high end going down hill moped bogs and loses a little speed all in all this is a great buy more expensive by less to deal with. SO BOLT ONE UP SWARM AND DESTROY!

5 of 5 awsome! September 15, 2014
taco eater : Nicholas Berge from Shoreline, WA United States
Treats hooked me up with the 60cc kit about a year ago and I lost some top end but the mid range for hills increased along with some low end.. but now with this beautiful pipe finally becoming available again I swooped it up installed and all I can say is before with 60cc hit 29mph without any tuning I added the pipe and now hit 37mph!  Only con is I lost a little low end like starting on a hill is a no go cause can't get into power band but if already in the power band from a roll then hills are cake at constant 30mph as compared to the 23mph I used to get.
