the easy way to avoid gettin $200 CDI for your peugeot! yeah! the easy way to avoid hiring a witch doctor yeah! no black magic fees! yeah! if you are having like stutters and shakes and such with ya 103 get this and install, of course your old ignition coil is officially expired. Works perfecto on puch mopeds too if you want to ditch your "bulky" external coil and concentrate your power. hmm. on puch you have to shave down the spark wire a lil to get it to thread on. enjoy

ps : white wire goes to condenser

I bought this as well as a new condenser and using some new points I bought months back and didn't use. After I had it all wired up and kicked the bike over I saw Thor jumping from my plug even being somewhat old and nasty
The spark between this and the new points/condenser was White and brighter than I've ever seen since I bought my Maxi.

Yes, will this coil work for a kinetic tfr50 moped, a 1995 mode?

These work on sthle chainsaws and they actually sell them on abbey for $5 bucks but they ship from china so they take a few weeks to get on your bike

5 of 5 for a clean simple set up February 6, 2018

I’m still running this guy since 2012 when I bought my first moped, it was already on the bike when I got it, (David from treats built the bike) never had any problems, only thing I’ve had to replace on my stator is the condenser when it goes out, other than that always puts out a bright blueish/white spark. Definitely a clean setup, no more bulky coil tryna to find a spot to mount ,I am only running 3 wires from the stator, 1 for spark plug, 1 for both lights(12vcoil), and 1 for kill switch, keep it simple y’all

Cleaned up the wire mess with this and a 12v light coil. Only 4 wires come out of engine now.

3 stars for the troublesome, micro-thin signal wire. If it touches anything, it will rub through enough to ground out, eventually, unexpectedly. I resorted to using several pieces of tiny heat-shrink wrap and made a curly out of the wire that is suspended with some Yamabond. We have no other choice but these things, unfortunately. Be sure to shrink-wrap the condenser-to-points wire while it's all apart.

Summary: Annoyed by the cheapness, but it does what it should do.
