If you have a Vespa Grande/Bravo/Ciao with a bad rear brake pad, look no further. This IS the pad you want. The tension spring isn’t fun to get on and off. After getting the spring on the rear brake pad has never stopped the bike so quickly. Zero modification to either the trans/hub and/or the brake pad itself, it simply falls into place.

This brake pad works so well that one time going down a steep hill going 45 mph I hit a pot hole and caused the back brake to engage and lock up on its own... resulting in a accidental 50ft long rear wheel skid. I can still remember the noise of the skid scaring the crap out of this woman and her daughter who were walking nearby lol

This was an upgrade larger pad for my 1980 Grande, but not for my 1980 Si.

Not Too Shabby

Pad face is 15mm wide, compared to 11mm on an original pad. That's about 36% more material to slow your roll with! Didn't fit right on to the brake pin; not a real issue though. Just dressed the pivot hole with an 8mm drill bit and it works perfect now.
