Its a cable. It is very stretchy though. I put this on my bike and someone asked me if my rear brake lever actually does anything. Yikes.

i had to cut one of the knarps off. the tiny guy was severed by yours truly. the way my tomos drums work didn't like the dual knarps. also, the lever-side adjustment wasn't needed. i have one present on my levers. after cutting the knarp, i took the innards out, discarded lever-side adjustment, and put innards back in

Solid components. Had to shorten the inner a bit to get it to work on a Maxi.

It works, but you might have to use old parts

It works on my old Swinger with some old looking controls, but the cable's lever end adjuster doesn't fit into my controls. I had to cut off the cable end and use the old one in the control, because the adjuster on this thing was too big to fit in, plus it's not threaded, while the control is. Front brake is the same, so watch out.

Works great on my st and has the adjustability at the top without messing with the pinch bolt
