I've been using a used PVL analog cdi on my peugeot 103 race moped for the past 2 years on the track and it's still blasting.
It's a little pricy but worth the money. I trust this ANALOG version better compared to the DIGITAL version variable advance timing for low end power (which I never tried) cause I just set the timing at normal 1,3 or 1,2 before TDC. Using a launch lever to keep the engine in high rpms at all time I compensate at low end and don't really need the advanced timing. I prefer a reliable ignition to protect my engine. If the DIGITAL variable advance timing recommend at 5,7mm BTDC is not set right or fails you can end up blowing up your piston.
