I want to like these a lot but I just can't. It's nice that you can unscrew one end to clean it, but the rubber seal melts in gasoline and leaks, and the filter itself isn't too great, only stops large chunks. Fine particulates still accumulate at the bottom and eventually into your float bowl. Get a better option IMO

My 1980 Honda NC50 gas tank was terribly rusted when i got it. Finally got it clean enough but now have the perfect serviceable fuel filter to keep all dat extra junk outta my carb

You cant expect your petcock filter to catch all the crap thats built up in your 40 year old tank, and sometimes the filter for your petcock becomes part of that crap, leaving you with nothing more than a tube inserting dirty, rusty petrol into the cylinder. Get one of these and catch that crap before it wrecks your setup

Excellent filter. Got clogged up with junk from my tank. Unscrewed the top and all of the crap fell out, leaving me with a fresh new filter again.
