in 1975, the american DOT standardized motorcycle controls so that you couldn't say ya didn't know about the 4 down 1 up shifting on yer bud's bike after ya rear ended a state trooper... doesn't rly apply to mopeds but what does is that emergency engine stop switches were required to be placed on the right side of the bars next to or on the throttle well this lil number certainly fits the requirement!! extremely simple with one lead and one ground, tho unfortunately the wire colors seem random. two i've seen have had green or yellow/red for ground and black or black/red for ignition. made by kinetic but fits 7/8" bars so it's universal in my book kinetic part # 15103350
