here's what ya get in this PARTYYY!:

The result of many years of design and research, MLM presents their new all aluminum reinforced subframe for honda hobbit, optimized to reach the perfect balance of price, rigidity, & weight.

This version weighs only 5.25 lbs. & is constructed to be extremely durable, light, and structurally sound for the highest all around improvements a subframe can offer.

All aluminum construction, powder coated semi gloss black.

Compatible with stock center stand, pedal shaft and chain tensioner. Stock ignition coil works in conjunction with this bracket!

This stands as yet another addition to the long list of handcrafted artisan quality MLM products designed and produced in the USA.

note: if you are planning on running a proma circuit on this, you will need to bend the mounting tabs on the pipe out to accommodate for the thicker aluminum. as for now, we don't think it will work with the stock pipe without hackin n welding the brackets...but who's gonna burden such a beauty with a stock pipe cmon

BLACK!

It's rigid and Fits perfectly on the bike,
- You do have to make your own slots to make the OEM sidecovers fit, it does work.
- Stupid location for coil (easy to make new holes)

+ Running mine with an MLM H95 Pipe, which the swingarm comes with mounting holes for!

+ Amazingly rigid!

+ stock centerstand fits.

Copying this to all colors.

Used for one year.

The tabs where the rear shocks go in bent. I did put on pegs but I never put my weight on it.

The bottom tab where the wheel connects broke. I used washer to make sure the bolt wouldn't damage it.  Didnt matter. I think it was the vibrations.

Disappointed in the quality of it.

This subframe looks and feels amazing. Super rigid and tough.

But mine took alot of work to get my engine and wheel mounted to it. All but two bolt holes for the engine needed some dremel action just to get the bolts in, they didnt line up. And the rear wheels bottom bolt slots that is used for wheel tension were not symmetrical so my wheel doesn't sit right. Machine shop got me fixed up and everything is now mounted up straight.

So if you think this will exactly replace your stock subframe it will not.

1) Airbox gone so time for new airfilter if using OG carb,

2) DOES NOT have a hole for the bottom flywheel cover.  I drilled and tapped mine.

3) DOES NOT work with your sidecovers (no hole and probably other issues).

4) your ignition coil will now mount close to the shock mounting holes, i had to use a spacer + long bolts. They sell an adapter plate as well.

5) Since its thicker, you will need longer subframe/engine mount bolts.

6) You will need nuts for your bottom shock bolts.

THINGS I LIKE:

this is way better/beefier than the original.  Stock kickstand mounts up perfectly.  Stock chain tensioner mounts up perfectly (YAY!! vs indigan which uses some weird nylon bushing action) MLM sidebleed mounts up perfectly.

The black one also looks very much like a stock one so you might not feel like it visually looks like an upgrade - my $.02.
