Tough to get on, but boy does it look nice. Spray the filter part down with some air filter oil and put some thread locker on the main screw so ya don't loose it! Paired it with the MLM clamp, so it even looked cooler, but could have used cheapo hose clamp. I'd rather it look nice.

Awesome air filter. Fits on Maxi perfectly with frame rails. The air filter is not symmetrical. ROTATE it to make it fit. If you have problems making it fit you might have other problems as well.

Did not have to sand out the inside. Just pry it open a bit before installing.

4 of 5 Good intake, but needs modification May 20, 2017
taco eater : Frosty from Charlotte, VT United States
defiantly a good little intake, but the stupid black paint should be masked off where the intake mounts to the carb when MLM painted them. Other than the sanding I had to do, it was an easy bolt on with a cheap hose clamp.

5 of 5 Last Air Filter You Will Buy April 25, 2016
taco eater : Chinatown Kicks from Boston MA
A little pricy but this is the last air filter you will ever need to buy for your Bing.  The fit onto the carb was a little tight (ok, VERY tight) but I sanded it out a bit and it was fine.  Secure it with a $2 hose clamp for additional tightness. I have put two of these on two different Maxis and had no problem with the rails interfering.  I mean it's up against that one bolt but nothing to prevent it from seating properly.  Won't fit under side covers but neither do any of the other performance filters.  Cut a little window for it.  Perfecto.
