This pull starter fits right onto the Ciao, and comes with all of the hardware you need. If you want to make a no-ped, then this will get you there. The parts are very sturdy and bolt on easily without any modifications. You will no longer need to run any decompression valve, so you can just remove the cable and clean up your bars. It will take some fenagling to get the pawl to line up with the clutch nut. The pull is very smooth and you will love it!

This is a pull start that will work with all vespa mopeds. The quality is good, the design is well thought out unlike some other pull starts I have on other bikes. The only two minor complaints are the mounting hardware can be weak (when I was struggling to get my engine running I probably reinstalled the enging and thus this hardware 20+ times on 2 bikes and went through 3 sets of mounting hardware) and the other minor issue with all of these is if you pull em alot and have alot of compression the recoil mechanism can break. Dont be like me and buy another of these, they have em on amazon for like 7 bucks and literly have the same product number minus the malossi rebranding. This is great if you want to ditch starter shoes or make a dirt bike where pedal starting in trails is not always possible.
