whoa! super hi quality TOP racing crank.

Oh the feel of this metal is too much for me to take, so smooth, so strong, so dreamy, enjoy.

These are not cut for a longer intake duration.

Please note in approx 2015 these were redesigned to increase the strength, since then we haven't heard of any issues.

4 of 5 Good quality but pay attention… September 18, 2022

I like this crank but…. Be careful and conservative when filing the points cam to fit properly. Make sure the wave washer isn’t what you feel if it wobbles . The objective  is to get the woodruff key engaged in the flywheel - nothing more- lowering the points cam too much will cause the flywheel to bind when you tighten everything up . Slow and steady . why this crank has a different shoulder taper/woodruff slot  than the stock is a mystery to me.

I didn't like it at first, but after having issues with other cranks this one was a breeze. You will have to sand down your cam for this one to work or your flywheel will be wobbly. It was easy, I used a belt sander. Install cam, bendy washer and flywheel to check. Repeat sanding until flywheel seats with no wobble.

I was so stoked. After some grief I got the cases back together only to find that I can't turn it over. Conrod needed some shaving. Cases needed shaving too. Spend a little more dough and get one that fits properly. It's worth the time saved. It's cheaper for a reason.

Slapped it in my SI beer box bike, after realizing the stock crank, someone had cut about 1/2 inch off of the threads. It was cheap so I went with it. Here's where the story gets good IF YOU USE THIS CRANK get your file out, you are going to need to file the points cam, down. Seat your flywheel alone on this before you put it in the block to see just how much you are going to have to take off the cam thickness, for me it was quite a bit, if you don't your flywheel WILL NOT seat and it will eat the key up and knock and just be a pain. Once you get that sorted out it really is a nice crank.

4 of 5 Seems OK, however.... February 12, 2017

Got this as a quick throw together for. Kinetic tfr. Got the bearing and crank in all good, now I'm to the points and flywheel however the woodruff key seems to sit approx. 2mm too short up into the flywheel. It only sits approx 2mm above the top of the Grove in the crank shaft. Seems to meet that's it's way too short. And I read somewhere about someone shering the key off due to the key not fitting correctly. If anybody knows of a place to get one please post here or I'll try to leave my email here. If I measured correctly the key needs to be 3mm wide by 6 or 7mm high (the top of the arch) by 12.mm Something mabye along the bottom straight part.   Any leads send to [email protected] thanks       HAPPY RIDING.
