As stated, this belt is 13.0 mm wide, stock belt is 12.3 mm. This belt is 10.0 mm tall, stock is 7.0 mm. This belts inner dia is 6.7 mm, stock is 8.7 mm. I bought this belt to replace my 30 yr original Grande in the fall. Installed it and it just did not have good pick up compared to my Si with stock belt. I thought the new Grande belt was loose, so I grinded the rivit, moved the plate out of the way and tightened it. Only having the bike for a couple of months, I put the bike away for the winter. Took it out now to investigate, thinking it was a clutch issue. Clutch was fine. Installed the original Pirelle back on and what a world of difference! Bottom line, this belt caused my bike to stay in a taller gear, causing it to have no pickup. You could clearly see the wear marks on the vario from the stock belt and this new belt was not even hitting those marks. Bike has stock varios. Anyone want to buy a slightly used a39 belt?

I put this on a stock Vespa Grande 78, and I was able to achieve an increase of speed of 2 miles per hour.
Not good for 1980 Grande!!!
