we've sent off some OEM points flywheels for the vespa mopeds to be lightened!! oh how exciting!

this flywheel weighs 1170 grams! the stock points flywheel weighs 1310 grams. thats 190 grams less or 15% lighter. every little bit of weight removed from the crank helps!! rev up a lil quicker and take some of the stress off those crankshaft bearings.

about 100mm ID !

I'm glad I didn't screw around and wait to order my lightened flywheel, it's definitely worth it.
Had to take 1.1 mm off the flywheels ID on the lathe, it was severely rubbing when I got it.
Remember, when you get an impulse to buy- DO IT!
Or you'll be pouting like the last guy!

I had to pull the trigger guys, someone beat me to the last points lightened flywheel. I'm hoping for a slight mph bump!
