vertex 47mm teflon coated single ringed piston.. this piston works in many kits, puch gilardoni, puch metra 80, derbi flatreed kit and possibly other 12m wrist pin 47mm cylinder kits. the pistons wrist pin is in a different location so you will have to make a metal spacer to get it match up to the ports perfectly.. this is not for beginners, this will take some experience to get it to work but will be worth it in the end.. for the polini cup races most of the race bikes including mine (jimmy), were running this piston in the derbi flatreed 70 kit so its tested and proven to be amazing..

piston dimensions -

48mm - long
24mm - top of piston to center of wrist pin
24mm - bottom of piston to center of wrist pin
1mm chromed GI ring

Desc suggest the piston ends up being too high which would mean you need to shim up your cylinder. After checking it out, it's the other way around, I need to machine about 2mm off the bottom of my 70 metra to make it work...

I wanna pull the trigger and buy this for my gila, I have a C cylinder, this fits nice and snug for the A

Also how would this work on a metra 80? It's a piston port you would never be able to get intake timing correct.

Better replacement piston by far
