this tomos 70cc 44mm cylinder is designed for A55 tomos engines as found on the late and current model tomos mopeds. It will fit on perfectly and integrate with your existing carburetor, intake, and exhaust, as long as you upjet your carburetor. Be sure to use the 6413 model of dellorto jet with the 6mm thread for the PHVA dellorto found on A55 bikes. There are a few good upgrades to go along with this cylinder - the techno bullet A55 pipe, the technigas next A55 pipe, and the PHVA 17.5mm caruretor, all usually, sometimes, found within the realms of treatland.

this kit is also, if you like, compatible with tomos A35 and puch engines, as the stroke is the same and the bolt pattern is also the same. the intake studs on these cylinders only match the A55 intakes. If you use this on a puch you'll have to mod an intake and a pipe, actually for A35 you'll have to mod a pipe and intake too, as the angles on the cylinder exhaust port is different between a35 and a55..but I have no clue why you would want this over a lil alukitty par T pak.

comes with cylinder, head, piston, cast iron ring, chromed ring, wrist pin, clips, and gaskets.

this head uses a regular bhs spark plug.

this kit is fantastic. needed a little fin chopping to fit the frame and be able to tighten the intake nuts, but who cares? Not me. Expect 45+ easily. but be warned this kit will give you issues if you dont jet accordingly.

pretty good October 3, 2011

Im getting about 45 with a technigas next 21mm delorto phbg and 26/22 gearing. overall its a pretty good kit but the A35 stuff blows it outa the water. I have a friend running a 19mm phbg techno bullet and the same gearing and hes getting 50 to 55 outa it. Down side is A35 blows clutches and thats about it.

Low end ripper September 29, 2011

I bought an Arrow that didn't run and now it does thanks to this kit. Started on the first kick. It's cheaper than stock replacement stuff too, so that's a plus. Tons of low end pull, not so good on the top end. Gearing and rev unlimiting is needed.

2011 ST August 29, 2011

Added kit, 17.5 PHVA and 27t front sprocket.  Easy bolt on except I had to mod my Biturbo hanger to fit. Went from 42mph to 50. Expected more. But I got tons more midrange torque. Whats weird is I had to go down on my idle jet from 35 to 25, and raise needle clip to the top. Main jet went from 65 to 84. With all that torque I'll probably need new clutches soon, but for now cars slow me down.
