here's a strange one. a chain tensioner for puch mopeds and maybe other mopeds too. these have a different mounting set up than the normal puch chain tensioner. just one M8 bolt for mounting.

taco eater : Mattman Mopedhead from Oakland, CA United States
I've used the other pedal chain tensioner that treat's sells, the one that looks like the original.  that one sux, but this one is looking stronger and more sturdy.  Time will tell, but so far I like it.

4 of 5 Didn't like it too much September 5, 2014
taco eater : TRENT from LONG BEACH, NY United States
Didn't like the construction, so removed the gear and hardware from the bottom end being that's what was destroyed on men which was the original. Fits perfecto if you put the chain guide on the outside of the mounting hardware (under te bolt head on one side and under the lock washer under the nut on other side). 4 tacos because it's like mopeds and tacos: mix and match till you find a good thing that doesn't explode your anus.

4 of 5 It takes some twisting July 3, 2014
taco eater : Ken Mullis from Grecia, Costa Rica
Because the front and rear sprocket don't line up exactly it took some twisting and bending to get it to stop throwing the chain. Once the alignment was right it works fine.

5 of 5 IT WORKS, BUT, YOU MUST TO TURN THE END August 21, 2013
taco eater : BURSUCIANU MODEST from MOUNT-ROYAL, QC Canada
I HAVE INSTALL THE ANOTHER ONE WITH RIGID ARM= WRONG ITEM. FORTUNATLY, I HAVE ALSO THIS IN STOCK. IF YOU WANT TO USE AND DO NOT SEE IT GO OVER THE CHAIN, YOU MUST TO TORN THE END IN THE ANGLE OF THE CHAIN. THIS , BECAUSE THE REAR SPROKET AND THE FRONT SPROKET MAKE AN ANGLE. IT IS NORMAL TO TJHIS TENSIONER TO GO OUT BECAUSE IT IS MADE STRIGHT. So, it is your to adjust with a wrench the right direction. also, you may be obligrd to enlarge the space for the chain in the iron clema. you must to add 2-3 metal washers in manner to make inaf space to permit to the chain to work freely in this tenssioner bearing area.
i have enlarge the space and the chain go without any problems. I found as thjis is more appropriate than the fix rigid arm one for puch. All the best from Montreal
