i just slapped one on my newport, goes on easy hooks up easy, started 1st try, advanced it a little and it's running great. the kill wire hit my leg while it was running and it shocked me way harder than any points setup would! i got the resistor plug mentioned above. haven't hooked up lights yet but it should be easy.

This is a great CDI setup for sure, but YOU MUST USE A RESISTOR SPARK PLUG. I burnt my internal igition coil up in less than 100 miles. Thought nothing of it because it was just a plug now its a 40.00 dollar mistake. Other than that this thing rips.

Outta the package and straight on to the moped. Adjudted the timing once and shaboom, shes running like a stallion at churchill downs. HIGHY reccommend using a resistor spark plug (NGK BR7HS) to reduce interferrence from plug to pickup.

Super easy and fast install. Solved all my ignition problems due to old crappy coils. My Magnum runs like a dream now. Do it!
