Happily the box fit perfectly, so far so good. Happy to have it replacing the original air box that was rusted and had mice living in it.

I don't know about this thing, but if it's anything like the stock maxi airbox, it's restricted, and it'll slow you down a little at the top end.
It's only (potentially) redeeming feature is how much less noisy it is than a high flow air filter, so if that's important to you I suppose it's pretty nifty.

I've a '78 Puch Newport. this air filter did not easily replace the original air filter. had to carve it up a bit to get it to fit on the bike. also had to shave about 1/4" off the front seal that attaches to the carb. doing so broke the seal, which pretty much defeats the purpose. would recommend another solution if you're looking to replace your filter.

nozzle is too long :/ |

after more tinkering ive changed my review but not my star rating. as a filter, it does what its supposed to. the nozzle to attach to the bing is about twice as long as normal stock, so you will have to chop it to fit. the bad thing about that is that there is a rubber fitting in there to make the seal, unlike puch stock that has a bolt to tighten.
so basically, you can make it fit on your bike, but you will have to figure out your own way to make it seal. not a big deal unless your super rook
