**ATTENTION PLZ, this seat has been retired and replaced with a new upgraded version found here. This is the exact same seat, but with the bracket lower where you actually want it. We tried to thing of some reason why someone might prefer this seat.. but we don't think there is one. **

puch long seat for puch maxis and any other non magnum puch you feel like fitting it onto.

Lots of people hack off the rear bracket to get this seat super low and resting on the rack. Just keep in mind you have to have it supported somehow in the rear otherwise it will eventually snap off. Of course you can happily mount it as is if you don't mind the height, but its more aerodynamic lower.

It looks a little goofy put on without cutting the rear bracket down, but after that, it looks and feels great!

Ok this will fit your bike without modifications if you have a 1978 maxi. The cover is on there good the lettering is well executed and all in all it took five years off the appearance of the bike. Seat is hard and won't fit two people comfortably. It is nice to be able to adjust your seating position for long rides or applying the brakes to shift your weight backward. Seat will bend a little as you find your preferred riding position. Leave the bracket on there to ride tall and proud!

Sat in the original bag inside for the last year before mounted and when I took it out to mount it recently the fake leather stuff has come unglued on the bottom. Kinda a drag for a brand new seat that has never been used. Maybe use some gorilla glue with clamps?

Way more comfy than the old seat. It coming with the brackets is nice since I did not think to order them. Puch is printed nicely. Was mushed in the back of my station wagon while transporting my Maxi. Wrinkles came out like the thing can heal!
