2mm too big for a puch maxi even though it had the right measurements on the website. Now I gotta wait weeks for a different one to come in while my bike takes up my dining room as a workspace. Thanks a lot.

These fit perfect on my 1978 Puch E50 Pinto, and I’m probably on my 6th/7th set of bearings. I tend to ramp off of speedbumps and get a foot of air because why not. After six-eight months or so, cracks appear in the cups. After a year the cracks will fracture out and the balls will get crunchy. Just install a new set, and you’re good to go!

This is a great way for the motorized bicycle crowd to get into a real set of suspension forks for their beach cruiser builds. The cups will fit a standard 1" threaded head tube, and the bearings appear to be identical as well. If you have roughly a 5-1/2" tall head tube, standard Puch Maxi forks fit perfecto with no mods needed.

This made my Newport a bit less of a deathtrap! better handling, no more handlebar shaking on stops, it almost feels like a new 'ped! They were a pretty tight fit but I ended up using a long bolt threaded through the frame with a stack of washers on each side as a makeshift bearing press
