removing your intake every time you need to re-jet, having your carb at a funky angle, and having to modify an expensive air filter to make it fit, go with this. get one that allows rejetting without removing the carb AND intake, unless you're the jet whisperer. then this is totally for you.

i have had no issues mounting this to a maxi luxe frame with a airsal 70cc kit.. fits snug.. you have to put the carb on the intake before you put it on the motor.. lol... also you might need the 90 degree bendys for your cable... works fine.. i think your smoking crack.. did you pass math?

Big time clearance issues on Puch Maxi |

I am indeed having significant clearance issues with the intake port and carb. Simply not enough space between cylinder and frame, carb clears neither one. It seems like the port should extend a bit higher and out further. Seems like it should be less than a 90 degree angle, maybe closer to 45 degrees like on my motomarina with essentially the same carb.
Is there another intake port available or am I up the creek? If anyone has indeed installed this on a Maxi can you post a pic?
