this is way better than any stupid cdi? this set up is so easy, and so clean, no more bulky external coil getting in the way, no wire mess, clean, clean, clean.

12 volt light coil + internal ignition coil + well everything else new new new and ready to go.  very simple.

this is just the stator plate, no magneto flywheel thing, get the complete set here if you need, or the flywheel here.

one yellow wire for head/tail light
one black wire for the kill switch
one 5mm black ignition wire to the plug over 15" long
finished.

CDI is totally last year anyway.

Super bright lights!  The rest of the electronics seem really nice as well.  It's got the little points oiling thing too, my stock stator didn't have that.  Double bonus!
