slips constantly if no key & puller doesn't thread |

if you don't use the woodruff key, the flywheel slips timing constantly and repeatedly. this leads me to believe the taper isn't perfect. if i were runnig with a woodruff key, i think it could eventually shear, and ruin a crank.
not only that, but my puch buzetti flywheel remover tool that i bought on treatland fits stock flywheels, but doesn't thread but two threads into this one. it doesn't engage all the threads. I think the threading pitch is different.
really disappointed with this. excellent theory, horrible reality

Prevent a broken flange |

these are good flywheels, but the flange does come loose. upon receiving a replacement i immediately welded 3 beads around the outside of the flange, on the outward facing part of the magneto. id suggest that everyone try this. afterall, this is just a little bit of work to run a super cheap new puch flywheel!

Broken at the "flange" also |

The "flange" is where the tabs (attached to the cam) meet the backside of the flywheel. All of my tabs sheared. Sucky. It still works, but has the death rattle. Replaced with stock flywheel.

After a few weeks. The flange somehow got loose from the rest of the flywheel.
