this is way better than any stupid cdi? this set up is so easy, and so clean, no more bulky external coil getting in the way, no wire mess, clean, clean, clean. 12 volt light coil + internal ignition coil + well everything else new new new and ready to go. very simple. this is just the stator plate, no magneto flywheel thing, get the complete set here if you need, or the flywheel here. one yellow wire for head/tail light one black wire for the kill switch one 5mm black ignition wire to the plug over 15" long finished. CDI is totally last year anyway.

this stator will work with lots of mopeds puch ZA50, E50 + tomos A3, A35 just use your old flywheel and you are perfecto!

bolted this bad boy up to my a35. man did that make the bike clean up nice. i dare you to find any wires on my bike! this is without a doubt the BEST bolt on upgrade you can put on your tomos. super bright spark, super bright lights, blows your old points stator out of the water. it just doesnt get better than this

condensers suck on this!! September 25, 2010

I bought one of these and was only able to test if for a few minutes on my lunch break.. everything was cool.. when i got home the points starting arching which hints at a failing coil.. Everything was timed and gapped with in range of specs and then the condenser completely failed.. So treats replaced it no problem.. Second one on same thing.. this time i bought a spare condenser.. slapped it in and guess what it worked for a few minutes and then bam toast.. i then switched everything out the bosch condenser and now it works, but honestly im afraid of this bS and going back to CDI

i love this setup. so clean, so simple, don't have to worry about random problems like you do with a cdi.

the only thing i have bad to say is make sure you tighten all the screws on it before installing it. i got mine in the main and slapped it on right away. after a little of riding one of the screws that holds down the lighting coil popped out, was flying around in my flywheel, and almost ruined the stator for good. so make sure to tighten up your screws!
