Once you put some real power into a 103 these truly become disposable, over time they will waller out on you, even when everything is done properly, the machining just isnt very tight, its a moped after all, keep a few on hand and you'll be all set!

It seems like clutch bells are a consumable part. These are no different. Shim it maybe right, toss two star springs call it a day. Buy another eventually.

When you swap out anything on a pug clutch you need to make sure you are making the appropriate shimming adjustments. The adjusting washer that sits between the spider spring and the clutch bell is very important. There are several widths available.
I had a similar problem which caused my clutch plate to shred. I went through two before I figured out that inproper shimming was causing my variator to lock up and shred the plate.
One $ .30 washer and I'm revvin up and down SF but mostly up

I got this because my old bells mounting hole was worn, this thing must have some clearances off or something cause it caused my clutch to drag and instantly shredded it.
I bought a new clutch disc and used my old bell and it's worked perfect ever since.
I've also talked to other people who tried to use this and they say that it just causes the clutch disc to slip hella bad and not work properly.
