Took 2 base gaskets to clear exh port fully ( ~1mm ).
Not too much clearance between top of piston / cylinder deck at tdc.
You're gonna end up setting your squish with a decently thick head gasket / head with a step machined before the actual squishband.

Rips pretty good.
I love that it's aluminum AND dual ring, makes me feel like it may not self destruct like every French kit to exist.
Also not a insane screamer like Doppler 50; low end ain't bad at all for a 50 kit.
Haven't put that many miles on it yet but I got faith.

EDIT 500 MILE REVIEW: Absolute tank. Easily most trustworthy French cylinder I've ever ran. Port durations aren't very rippy however. This thing is not made to hit 11k. I have it on a clutch pulley set up and I almost feel like it performed better with stock clutch due to the fact that it doesn't have a peaky powerband like most French 50cc kits. I think this cylinder is amazing but wouldn't recommend it if you're looking to join the 50cc/60mph club.

5 of 5 Sick Kit! Rips! March 27, 2016

Love it!  The kit requires some work.   I made an 1/8 inch spacer out of aluminum to get the correct squish on my 103.  Coupled with a high comp head with no decomp it's crazy. Added the third transfer and did some minor matching.

I have had this on my Peugeot for some time hitting good speed I have not been the best with 2 stroke oil . But this kit keeps going, and going, will replace ring this year 15 bucks. Best kit ever! speed, but when slow traffic it will not stall. Well worth the extra buck.

5 of 5 nice 50cc kit September 30, 2011

I ordered this kit at the recommendation of Christophe @ Tomahawk Mopeds. He installed it, adding the third transfer to my stock TSM cases. The other two transfer ports are pretty close to stock, which makes things easy. If you have euro or Teknix 3-port cases, hardly any matching is needed. So far the kit is working great. Only thing I noticed is that mine came with a single ring piston, whereas the photo seems to show a 2-ring piston.

4 of 5 Looks good, gasket sucks July 23, 2011

Looks really nice, beautiful ports and nice exhaust booster-looking ports too. Piston is beautiful. One thing that was a slight let down was that the gasket between the case and the kit is not a great fit. The side port holes in the gasket are way too big so I'm going to make a new gasket instead, just in case.
