OK i have had this for a year and swapped over to a bidalot(no longer made) and didn't look back. I can tell you that you MUST use the Malossi belt with this, which means you have to keep your stock engine angle! If you want to use a normal "AX" belt you have to shim the variatior 2mm(kinda defeating the purpose of this upgrade) A 'BX" belt works, BUT is slow and heavy on the ped, noticeably so, but you do get a LIL more top end at the sacrifice of low end.
You must remove the unit to change the weights which is a HUGE pain, bc you ALSO have to dismantle the unit to do so! You COULD cut it up so you wouldn't have to, but you would chance throwing the balance off and breaking your crank!
At least this isn't like the doppler unit which flies apart often, and is made out of pot metal. Also yes you do get more range out of this which means faster take-offs and more top end due to its enormous size, BUT i feel the weight, belt issue, and weight changing insanity, is TOTALLY not worth it!
