FAG bearings, aside from their unfortunate name, are fantastic bearings, and hold up under constant use.
Of course, we use em on a labrotory grade testing machine to support a whirling mechanism that uses a complex array of one way bearings, shafts, and #25 chain to very precisely roll up a sock. The machine sells for upwards of $25,000.
And you thought Metrakit parts were expensive.
